Bayside is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bayside is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is awesome! We loved the dishes we ordered (tartufo pizza, prosciutto burrata pizza, meat lovers pizza, Caesar salad and fried mozzarella appetizer. The bartender made me the best mojito I’ve ever had and our lovely server made us a fresh tiramisu at our table! The lady finger cookies were freshly baked! I highly recommend it! The meat lovers pizza was a little too salty and saucy for us but the other pizzas were excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

It was a very quiet late lunch on a Wednesday, with only one other table occupied. The restaurant is nicely decorated, featuring an open kitchen and a wood-fired oven, which gives the space a warm and inviting feel. Our server was very pleasant and happened to be the only one working at the time, though with so few guests, it seemed to be all that was needed. We ordered the three-course lunch special. One set included the meatballs to start, followed by the chicken Parmesan and bomboloni for dessert. The other included a Caesar salad, tagliatelle Bolognese, and tiramisu. There was a bit of a longer-than-expected gap between the appetizer and the entrΓ©e, especially considering we were essentially the only table being served, as the other guests had already finished their meal. That was a little frustrating. Aside from that, most of the food was solid. The only real disappointment was the chicken Parmesan, which was quite overcooked. It was unfortunate given that the kitchen was only cooking for the two of us. That said, the mashed potatoes, an unusual pairing with chicken Parmesan were excellent: perfectly creamy and incredibly smooth. The tiramisu was also quite good, but the real

We had a wonderful lunch today. Mariana’s service was amazingβ€”she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The St. Patrick’s Day cocktail she made was absolutely delicious and a fun festive touch. The Italian lunch special is a great deal: a three-course meal that also comes with complimentary bread and olive oil, and the olive oil was incredibly good. For my courses, I had the Caesar salad, pasta, and tiramisu for dessert. My husband ordered the meatballs, salmon, and bomboloni for dessert. Everything was delicious, and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with great food, generous portions, and excellent service from Mariana. We would definitely come back again.

It was my first time going to Valdari with high expectations due to reviews of the food. It is Valentine’s Day and we made a 7:45pm reservation. As I walked in with my fiancΓ©, there was a crowd of people waiting at the entrance not taken care of. I’ve seen waitresses walking past the front at least 5 times within the few mins to charge people’s credit cards and taking care of the drinks. We spoke to a couple that was there before us and they had a 7:30 reservation and weren’t taken care of and not greeted. They stated the waitress just walked off. As 10-15 minutes past, we waived down a waitress who walked by the front to ask about our reservation. We checked in with her and we were seated in few minutes. it’s safe to assume that if we didn’t flag someone down.. we definitely were not going to be β€œchecked in” or even taken care of. No one was managing the front as there were a swarm of guests waiting. The second we told the waitress we had an appointment, everyone else came behind to tell her as well. Im unsure of how the team operates but 30 mins passed by no one took our orders and not even water was served. 40 mins later, someone finally got to us and took our orders. We find o
